Wich battery number may i use in this watch bulova 96t63 ??thanks

cant see that model watch on the Bulova web site user manuals
http://www.manualslib.com/brand/bulova/watch.html
if unsure if it needs a battery go to a jeweler or watch or battery seller

some model Bulova Watched instructions
IF YOUR NEW WATCH IS A MECHANICAL WATCH
(no battery)
Mechanical watches differ from Quartz watches in several
respects:
1. No battery changes are needed - they are powered by a main-
spring, which is wound either by wrist movement; or in some
models by daily winding of the setting crown.
2. Because it is a mechanical device, it's accuracy is subject to
the effects of gravity and temperature. You can expect, on the
average, a daily variance of up to 10 to 20 seconds for
mechanical watches.
3. Just like automobiles, these watches require routine mainte-
nance. Due to their mechanical complexity, mechanical
watches require cleaning and new lubrication every 3 to 5
years to run at optimum efficiency.
FOR THE AUTOMATIC SELF-WINDING
MECHANICAL WATCH
it must be wound at least six or seven times before you wear it.
After that, your daily activity should wind the watch sufficiently
to keep it running at night when it is not being worn. If your
normal daily activity is not sufficient, occasional supplementary
manual winding may be necessary. It is suggested that your
mechanical watch be cleaned and oiled periodically to insure
optimum performance. As a mechanical watch, quartz watch
accuracy cannot be expected. References to the power cell do
not apply to Automatic watches

Need to replace or repair a Bulova watch band C877668. One of the links broke. Stainless steel backing

I took mine to a watch repair shop but make sure your watch is worth repairing as it's not cheap.

Bulova 96b34 watch is not working

Batteries do not last forever. They corrode contacts, loose power even while in storage. Go to a different shop and have the battery replaced.

My Bulova wristwatch has had two batteries replaced in the last month and a half. The last one was installed this past Saturday- two days ago. The watch is no longer running.

Hi Maureen, The first thing i would have checked is the battery strap if there is one to make sure it is properly fitted over the battery. Other than that as long as the batteries were from a reputable jeweler, it seem as if you watch may need a movement cleaning and or repair it could possibly be the coil. Most of our watch cleanings run around $80.00 but we do all repairs by estimate. Thank you! Lisa

The battery in your watch needs to be changed, this a warning the Bulova Millennia 98A48 gives before battery is drained.

Just replaced the battery on the Bulova Ladies bracelet watch. watch keeps stopping still.

If you have had your watch awhile, it probably needs a clean/oil/adjustment. FIne watches need regular mainentance just like a car. Take to a local watchmaker or send to following:

Installed a new battery, but watch still doesnot work. I was told that the old battery had corroded the battery compartment. I am looking for someone in the Boston Area that repair wittnaure watches.

Copy "www.bulova.com/brands/wittnauer/wittnauer.aspx?brand=wittnauer" into your search engine and this will take you to the store locator.

Fill in the zip code to find your nearest dealer.

Second hand sticks

Be careful because some repair centers will charge you to be the middle man even though they know there will be no charge for the repair.

I recommend contacting Bulova directly because the problem you describe is a defect in the movement and yes it should be repaired. I would recommend replacing the movement rather than over hauling.

Bulova's standard warranty is 2 year limited. You should be covered.

NEED REPLACEMENT CRYSTAL WATCH

I'm afraid there will be no good reason to explain where to get the exact crystal for your watch as plenty of special skills and tools are needed to replace it.
The best solution is to find out your nearest watch repair shop and ask for replacement. Any decent watchmaker can do it.
If you want this job done by Bulova itself, visit this site:

www.bulova.com

Here you can contact them and find whatever you want, even your nearest Bulova service center.
Do not forget to rate, please.
