Laser is getting stuck or jammed or just all out malfunctioning. You need to get an external dvd player this will not be worth the cost of the repair. Sorry...no real fix other than installing brand new drive in your tv.
You do not mention if you have unpluged the tv from the wall,is the easiest thing to try,if the set resets and still does not open the tray you can still force it open it manually but very carefully just to remove the dvd,if you can not force it open by pulling evenly in both extremes of the tray and you feel the dvd still is not coming out even with the tray open, dont go further and get help from a servicer,we do not want to break the mechanism.(set should be unplug )You can also remove the back cover and see if the main conector to the dvd player can be unplug,if it does you can leave it unplug and try turning the set on.This information might help you make a decision but the best solution will be to disassembly the dvd and remove the stuck dvd without forcing anything. The set is faily new and is worthed the repair.Let Us know how it goes.
