Composite Video likely....however, you should not need that.

Is this Flat Screen a TV or a computer Monitor ?

If it is a TV, then you have to use the menu buttons or the remote and set the "input" to whatever connection you are trying to use.

How do I get Netflix onto my television so that I can watch netflix

Are you using a computer to play Netflix? In that case you need to connect your computer to your TV.

This can be done with multiple kind of signal cables (depending on what kind of input your TV has, and output your PC has).

The most common way with newer TVs and PCs is using a HDMI-cable. This is also the easiest way, as it usually connects automatically when you put the cable into your computer and TV.

This is a standard HDMI-cable:25498683-nnoqddbo2llde4pwvwvp0m30-2-0.jpg
This is what a HDMI-Input looks like.

watching a show, as in watching what, name it,
eg. my guess ,you were streaming .videos online, who's videos
netflix or youtube or what.

  2. lost internet connections.
  3. that TV has issues, try a different one , to prove this.

PC fails.

I have a HP 1755 flatscreen monitor but i cant get it to work

There should be a 3.5mm stereo phone jack on the monitor. You need a 3.5 male to 3.5 male cable to plug the monitor into the speaker out from your PC. Cable can be purchased at Radio Shack for under $10.

I NEED A POWER CORD

This TV uses a standard power cable that is also used in many other TVs, monitors, and computers. It is a CEE 7-7, which is often called a 'PC power cable' or 'standard 3 prong power cable'.

You should be able to find them almost everywhere, but your local Radio Shack, Bestbuy, or Walmart are all sure to have them.

Compaq 1720 Monitor

You may need an adapter plug. They come with new monitors so ask around to see if anyone has one you can borrow.
