Question about Dell Dimension 8400 PC Desktop
Thanks again i will be out sun. am for awhile to do some christmas shopping because i have put it off for 5 days while i fought with my computer. i hope we can catch each other some point today. like i said earler. i did what you suggested and it still wouln't reboot. kept saying to hit f1 to retry or f2 to go to system setup??? my knowledge base of this is very low. if i could just get it to accept the reboot i could probably take care of it. again i had to turn off all items in boot order except the cd drive. if i made cd #1, i was not able to # the other drive. thanks again
Last attempt, you are witing way too long, ithas already booted if you see tgose things, just hit restart and immediatlly go tap the delete key, you need to get in before it boots.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
