Question about Terk XMDirect Satellite Radio Receiver
I had this unit hooked up to my Alpine 9857 in my pickup and everything worked awesome. Well, since then, I move the head unit and everything to a different car and now it won't work. It finds the satellite fine and shows the station ID and the song information, but there is only two levels of volume, off and pretty low and it's not able to be adjusted. Also, when I switch over to either iPod or Tuner, you can still hear the XM playing in the background. Any support would be great. Thank you.

Are you playing it directly thru your FM antenna connection, or using the RCA jacks? You have to set the FM modulator level. It is also possible that you have a new FM radio with a type of ALC that will raise the lever regardless, but your regular car radio volume control should work. do not wire this directly to a power amp, as you won't have the control that you need. Good luck, let me know more.
