I have the same problem in a Whirlpool refrigerator. The official service came and they didn't solve it. The refrigerator runs but the CF error continues, and I can't use some functions

Will the fridge still work with code sy cf

Hello Friend, thank you for your post!

If you are getting an error code SY CF, it typically means that your refrigerator has detected an error between the main control board and the user interface (the control on the Freezer door). A tech would typically check the communication wiring between both parts to determine the cause of the error code. If the wiring is correct, then more than likely you are looking at a faulty main control board or user interface.

In the meantime, you may try resetting your refrigerator by disconnecting the power from it for up to ten minutes. You can do this by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. This often clears most false-error codes. Hope this helps! - Z

Frigidaire SY CF issues

Good Morning Jack, thank you for your question!

Typically error code SY CF indicates that your refrigerator has detected a communication failure after power up. The error code may possibly continue after replacing the part you have ordered. With this error code, a professional would need to check wiring between the main control board and user interface board. After proper diagnoses and if the error continues, the main control board may need replacing. Hope this information helps to some degree!

LG Fridge Freezer display has CF error code

Turns out a CF ER is a Compressor Fan problem.
Had a look and the fan was not turning, although it spins freely. Apparently it's a 3 phase 12v fan. I was able to get a resistance measurement across it but didn't know what to expect.
This also explains why it seemed a bit quieter and why the water is a bit warmer sometimes. The valve for the water dispenser is right beside the fan and it's getting pretty hot in there at the moment.

CF AND 99 error.

Hey mus326,
According to the manufacturer a cf error code means there is a problem with your cf card, and error code 99 is a general error code which is often caused by using a lens other than a Canon lens. When formatting the cf card make sure you are formatting the card in the camera, and not using a computer to format the card. If you still can't get the camera to work I would suggest you have it looked at by an authorized service center.

Sincerely,
Allan

Error 50

The "E50" error code indicates formatting a CF card has failed. Solution To clear the "E50" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another CF card. If you have another CF card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other CF card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. 2. Use your computer's ScanDisk utility to check the CF card for errors. Use ScanDisk to check the CF card for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your operating system or Windows Help for further instructions. (If you are using a Macintosh, use the "Disk First Aid" program to check for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your Macintosh OS for further information.) Be sure to back up the data on the CF card on the computer before you check the CF card. If a card error or card failure occurs when you use your computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the CF card. Follow ScanDisk's on-screen instructions to solve the problem.
