How do I get the sound to work when I am videoing with my vivicam5386, everything else is ok, I am on holiday and did not bring my manual with me
The audio is there but not when played back in the camera. copy the video clip to your computer and play it from the PC.

Initially, based on a spec sheet of a Vivita 5386, it can record pictures in jpeg and video clips in AVI format. It does not have a built-in microphone nor speaker. It also has a video out and USB ports.
However, there has been several reports that it do indeed record audio but could only be heard when the AVI file is downloaded to a computer and played with an AVI capable multi media player.
Should this be the case, then there would appear not only one version of a Vivitar 5386 or the audio capability is not advertised.

Actually this model has no built in microphone..thats why u can't rescord with audio
I think this camera has not built-in speaker for playback sound. If it is true, you can hear sound by exporting its recorded movie files in PC and playback with media player.
I just got to know that Vivitar 5386 camera has no built-in Mic nor built-in speaker.
