After checking it is fully charged, connect it to a PC via USB2 port or to a mains supply then press and hold the Select and Menu buttons till an Apple symbol appears. If it does, you're home free. If not there is a more serious hardware problem (possibly just the battery) that needs looking at by a service engineer.

All the best

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My ipod nano 2nd gen's screen won't display anything..

I have had this problem recently myself and would like you to know that it is possible to fix. The white screen error or otherwise known as "white screen of death" is caused by the lcd color screen on the ipod itself. That is why its functions still work but the screen does not. Once you replace the color screen it will be as good as new.

Ipod nano screen powered on but nothing being displayed

You can replace the LCD display screen. There are several websites out there that sell the parts and the cover removal tools. It's really not that hard to do, but it runs between $50-100. Type in "Ipod parts" and you'll get several hits for prospective vendors.
