Sigmaplot 9 will not run with windows 7

1. Click the RIGHT mouse button on the icon for "SIGMAPLOT 9"
2. On the menu that appears click "PROPERTIES" with the left mouse button. This will give you a properties window.
3. Click on the "COMPATIBILITY" tab at the top right of the properties window with the left mouse button.
4. Tick the box "RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR:"
5. Click the drop down arrow and select the version of windows it ran in before or try "Windows XP Service Pack 3" and click APPLY.

If that doesn't solve the problem repeat steps 1 to 4 and this time select windows 2000. This should solve the problem.

The left mouse button doesnt work every 4th press...

I believe the switch inside the left mouse button has worn out or broken that made you think after pressing 4 times you were able to trigger the switch and make the mouse to work. You may open your mouse carefully to see if this is the case. If not please follow the below steps as you might need to configure the mouse double click speed.
Open control panel>Double click on the mouse icon>Button Tab>Double Click section>Adjust your double click speed.

When I press the left click on my mouse once it clicks 3 times What can I do to fix it

Sounds like an issue with the mouse. Try another mouse to verify this. You can also go into the control panel and under the mouse icon slow down the double-click speed of the mouse.

Are trying to switch to lefthanded settings?

Converting to Left Hand Mouse for Windows XP Users:

  • Click on Settings and select Control Panel.
  • Double click on the Mouse icon to display the Mouse Properties
  • Select the Buttons tab and click on the check box marked Switch primary and secondary buttons to set the mouse buttons up for left-handed use.
  • Click OK or press Enter to confirm your choice and exit the mouse properties (note: you should be using the mouse’s right button now to make selection)

Toshiba Satellite ?Vista home?Start button not working

> clicking on START has no response.

Have you tried a different mouse, just in case that the LEFT button on the mouse is malfunctioning?

Does pressing the "Windows-flag" key on your keyboard (between CTRL and ALT, on the left) cause the same effect as clicking the START button?

Start Internet Explorer.
Click Tools.
Click Internet Options.
Click Connections
Check that your PPoE entry is present and is set to "automatic".

"sticky" mouse on compaq laptop

Unless your left mouse button has been severely damaged, it is unlikely that a loose button is the cause of your problem. More likely, it is your touchpad. Chances are your touchpad is set to click when tapped. Oversensitive touchpads can click randomly when you're dragging your finger across the touchpad.

To test this, position your cursor over a link (or other button) but don't press the left mouse button. Instead, lightly tap the touchpad itself. If the link or button is clicked, go to your Control Panel and adjust the Mouse options so your touchpad no longer clicks when tapped. It's usually a setting titled "tap to click" or something along those lines.
