Question about Kenwood KDC-322 CD Player
Display will go blank. Unit still works but no control over volume, channels etc. Was intermittent but now stuck in this mode. Have checked all power connections etc.
I found my Kenwood KDC322 faceplate doing the same thing(cutting out) I cleaned the contact points on this 'ribbon' behind the faceplate by rubbing the discoloration off with a pencil eraser. The lights have not cut out again.

If it is a flip face stereo then you may need to replace the "ribbon" cable that ties the flip face back to the main circuit board. Good luck.
