My camera takes blurry pictures it will only take clear pictures upclose

From my understanding the camera is VERY sensitive to movement and the slightest movement while the picture is being taken will blur the image considerably. This may explain why it can take decent pictures up close but not far away. The further away an object is when the shutter is open, the more exaggerated the distortion will be making it very difficult to take snapshots at a distance. The best thing to do is to simply try to stabilize the phone best as possible when the picture is being taken. It has an exceptionally powerful camera for a cell phone so it should take great pictures as long as it is held steady. Very steady.

Well, your first problem is that the phone is not completly waterproof. (as in taking it for a swim) Many consumers have complained about this phone not actually being waterproof. I would get myself to the wireless store and complain pronto!!!!

Camera on Standby?

There's a menu in Options to continue/resume using the camera when it's on standby.
Go into the menu and reset the phone to original settings, (You might loose all your data). Or try switching the phone off and taking the battery out then leaving the phone alone for 1 hour.

try master resetting the phone, if that does not correct the phone issue with the camera, you will have to get the phone flash....this can be done by taking the phone to a mobile service center.

Motorola Razor: thumbnail doesn't match photo

it's actually a "normality" of motorola cameras ... The sound you hear of it "snapping" a picture and what you really see are two different time frames. Best trick: hold still even after you hear/see it take a pic.

Go into your options and see what your resolution size is. Try bumping it up if you can. Hopfuilly that beefs up the photo size.
