Remove power & battery. Turn device over. There are two screws indicated by "kbd", one about behind the space bar, the other level with F7. Remove them (don't lose them!).

Turn machine over. Open lid (!).

You now need to ease the keyboard up from the edge below the Space bar (when you get it out you will see lugs above the function keys so you can't start from the top).

To ease the keyboard out, you will see three little cut-outs on the edge of the plate hoding the keyboard. Put a small scredriver in each and push back away from the keyboard, lifting gently at the same time; this will free each of those sprung tabs in turn. The keyboard is now free (apart from the ribbon cable behind it: beware!). You may need to lever it up slightly from the side as it is a tight fit, but always take it out from the space-bar side first because of the lugs at the top.

The ribbon cable is held in with a sort of stirrup which is clipped on the left-had side (you need good eyesight to see that). Ease the clip out slightly (less than 1 mm) and you can the ease the stirrup forwards (not up in the air). The cable will then slip out.

Samsung Q430 keyboard removal

Keyboards are simple to replace. Remove the power cord, remove the battery. Turn the laptop over and look at the screws on the bottom case. If you see a screw that has the icon of the keyboard next to it, remove that screw. Look inside the Battery Case there might be screws it in. If so remove them because normally those screws hold the strip that is above the keyboard and there might be some in there that has the keyboard icon next to it.

Turn the laptop back over and open the lid. Pry the strip that is above the keyboard off gently because there might be a cable on it. On most systems the strip above the keyboard will be where the power button is.

Once you have the strip above the keyboard removed look at the top of the keyboard and there might be screws to remove that the strip was hiding. There might be little catches that key the keyboard in place located along the side or at the top. Gently work the keyboard out because there is a cable behind the keyboard that you will need to remove.

That's all there is to it.

Left, down, colon button switch of my samsung N150 not working pls help me to solve the problem... Thanks

You can try to vacuum out your keyboard, then try to blow it out with compressed air. If these don't make it work your keyboard has lost function in those keys

Here is a link to a new replacement keyboard.

Step 4 Keyboard Remove the keyboard of the Samsung N150 is a breeze. Nor is it necessary with a screwdriver, simply lift the top to pop out of place. At that point you just have to open the ZIF connector that connects to the motherboard.

BIOS reset

By resetting the CMOS battery all you need to do is to teardown your laptop and have to remove and reinstall the CMOS battery. And for the replacement of the CMOS battery of your Samsung laptop just call SAmsung technical support so that they can give you the exact model of the CMOS battery and where you can have the battery. Thank you.

Want to upgrade memory for Samsung V25

you mem is located in a compartment on the underside of pc.
usually 1 retainer screw on compartment cover.
there will be various covers that can be removed ..if you dont know which one it wouldnt hurt to try them in the centre is usually ur keyboard retainer screw, ones near edges are (dependinding which side)for plug and play peripherals, pcm, wifi etc..
no harm will be done to remove in to check as long as theyre replaced and not forgotten.
you can download a service manual to give you the exact location and step by step guidance at hp site.

How to remove the back off my smasung x05 laptop

You are looking at a real job here. The socket is soldered to the motherboard. You will have to completely disassemble the laptop and de-solder the DC socket and re-solder it. Not a job for the faint of heart, not to mention someone without real soldering skill.
I can't tell you the actual steps, but you'll have to unscrew the screws in the bottom of the case, remove the bezel that covers the display hinges, remove the keyboard, display, the palm rest, and then remove the motherboard.
FYI, the palm rest is held to the base by little plastic catches--so you have to be really careful when using a screwdriver to separate the two plastic pieces.

Tosiba saterlite A100 pro- how do i dimantle

1. Release the following 10 latches on the switch cover, in that order:
- Six bottom latches (near LCD/ Hinge side)
- Four front latches
2. Remove the speaker cover.

Remove 2 screws holding keyboard in place lift up and
Remove the connector CN11 on main board and keyboard.

The odds of "Repairing" the keyboard are practically nill, I would use an external until a replacement could arrive. LINK

on that model check to see if the any screws under were the drive is. remove them. also i believe the are small latches the hold the keyboard in place. using a flat head screwdriver you should be able to slowly anchor the keyboard out. the drive is underneath and there you go.

Although those are not the keys that typically go out first due to wear I suspect that the keys are just worn. Typically this type of problem starts off with a key occasionally not working unless you press it hard and progressing to the point where it doesn?t work at all. The fix will probably be replacing the keyboard which runs about $50 on Ebay (US layout). If you are adventuresome you can try removing the keyboard and cleaning the key contacts but be warned laptop keyboards are not designed to be repaired. Chances are fair that your efforts may cause more problems. Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.
