Could be you have a broken fuser film (tube) Hot fusing element is contacting ptinted paper.
Tubes often get broken when removing paper jams.

Does anyone have the schematic of the RM1-4815 which is the low-voltage supplier board. Actually I just want to know the value of the R106. It has burned in my board. Thanks a lot

Hello;
You would be better suited to order a new power supply board such as the one listed below on eBay, as HP does not provide any real support for things such as this and it is probably /maybe a lot cheaper anyhow doing it this way! I know it seems like a waste of money for 1 stinkin' cheap resistor (if that's all it is) but what if the other part it is attached to that caused the burn out is nearly bad also?

  • Troubleshooting Setup and Install If your device is not recognized:
    • Verify that your cable is USB 2.0 high-speed compliant.
    • Ensure that your cable is connected correctly. Remove the USB cable, look at the end of the cable, and then match it to the pattern on the USB port. Make sure that it is not upside down. Insert one end of the USB cable completely into the USB port on the HP device and the other end into the back of the computer.
    • Check that the peripheral is turned on. Peripherals will not be recognized if the power is off.
    • Ensure that your USB cable is no more than 15 feet or 5 meters in length.
    • Check that the USB port is enabled. Some computers ship with disabled USB ports.

Printer always says "Remove and check color cartridge"

It must be your ruined catridge. Some times the wire connections are burned at the side of the catridge and you must thaw away it and buy a new color catridge.

HP LaserJet 1500... prints color yellow ONLY

It's possible that the toner in the cartridge is not evenly distributed. You can redistribute toner if you gently shake the cartridge from side to side, then reinstall it to see if this affects performance. Please also see this article.
You might wish to use the guided troubleshooting option available from HP support here. Or have a look at the troubleshooting section in the user manual here. Then clean the engine & calibrate the printer, as described pg. 88.
If that's no help, please see this forum post and the linked attachments within.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

It's probably the toner cartridge again. See if you can spot defects at the cyan drum unit that matches the marks on your printout.

Roller marks on photos when printing

This printer is laser based so the toner is heated onto the page. It could be the transfer roller that is dirty. The transfer roller can be found on the door when you open the printer. It is the thin roller at the bottom. Check and see if there is a build up on it or if there is a repeating line on the larger transfer assembly which is also on the door. You can try rubbing them of with a dry lint free cloth. It may be that you need to replace it.
