hello...just want to inform u that r u already enable your mic?if u want to enable it, double click at sound icon located at near your clock, select sound...choose recording tab and then try to enable your mic...

is the display activated ? (from the display on/off button or keys combination ).
try to mount an external display, if it shows at boot some information on the display than u;ll know that the video card is working. (if not u'll have to change it, and if it;s incorporated in the laptop u;ll have to change the motherboard ....)
you can also try a BIOS reset, or to set it at the defaults settings ...
if it;s still not working give more details (maybe the display is broken ?! , any kicks to it recently ?)
