Question about HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook
The left hand quarter of my laptop screen has gone blank and I cannot access many of my programs.Is ther a way to get it back to life.?
Generally, the LCD is a pass or Fail device, with a few exceptions. You can try reseating the LCD cable to the video card and see if that makes any difference in the display.
If video looks normal on an external monitor, then LCD replacement is in order (Arround $200 to 400 depending on display) if issue is the same on external monitor then the video card is failing
