Air bag warning ligth staying on

Hi Barry, Have a diagnostic scan carried out on the vehicle. Just as a matter of interest, do you know with vehicles fitted with air bags, it is very inadvisable to smoke or hold any sharp object while driving. If the air bag is triggered, the force of its operation can cause that type of object to cause serious injury Regards John

Bus connections used in laptop to replace

Internal Bus

Internal bus, also known as internal data bus, memory bus or system bus or front-Side-Bus, connects all the internal components of a computer, such as CPU and memory, to the motherboard. Internal data buses are also referred to as a local bus, because they are intended to connect to local devices. This bus is typically rather quick and is independent of the rest of the computer operations.

External Bus

The external bus, or expansion bus, is made up of the electronic pathways that connect the different external devices, such as printer etc., to the computer.

Send me the laptop screen information

At first glance, we wouldn't elect the Compaq Presario M2000 the laptop we'd most enjoy cramming into a carry-on bag, but this economical desktop replacement is lighter than it looks, and it performs solidly.
The Compaq Presario M2000 is big and square--1.8 inches tall, 13.2 inches wide, and 11 inches deep--but it's very portable at 6.4 pounds. The power adapter adds less than a pound more.

Can't refit space bar & alt Gr keys to Acer Extensa 4620

Removing the keys can sometimes damage the very small retaining clips then it won't clip back in place.
You can get replacement keyboards on the Internet, I've bought keyboards for approx. US$20 from the USA. The keyboard is easy to remove and replace, no need to get a techo to do it.

Steering column is becoming loose on 1997 Buick Lesabre. I would like detailed instructions on removing the air bag module and steering wheel enouhg to get to where it needs to be tightened.

Yes there are four bolts halfway down col. this removal procedure may help.REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
  1. Disable SIR System.
  2. Two screws at back of steering wheel.
  3. Position inflator module to gain access to wire connectors. Note wire routing for assembly reference.
  4. Push in and rotate horn contact lead counterclockwise, and remove from the steering column horn tower.
  5. Horn contact lead.
  6. Retainer (CPA) from SIR wiring connector.
  7. SIR wiring connector from inflater module.
  8. On models so equipped, disconnect steering wheel control switch connector.
  9. Inflater module. WARNING: When carrying a live inflator module, make sure bag and trim cover are pointed away from body. Never carry the Inflator module by wires or connector on underside of module. In case of an accidental deployment, bag will then deploy with minimal chance of injury. When placing a live inflator module on a bench or other surface, always face the bag and trim cover away from surface. Never rest a steering column on the steering wheel with inflator module face down and column vertical. This is necessary so that a free space is provided to allow air bag to expand in the unlikely event of accidental deployment. Otherwise personal injury may result.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
  1. Steering wheel control switch connector it equipped.
  2. Retainer (CPA) to SIR wiring connector.
  3. Route horn contact lead to steering column tower; push lead into horn tower and rotate clockwise to locked position.
  4. Horn ground lead.
  5. SIR connector and retainer (CPA).
  6. Inflator module to steering wheel. Install top surface of module first to ease assembly and fit. Do not pinch any wires.
  7. Two screws through back of steering wheel to inflator module.
    • Tighten screws to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
  1. Enable SIR system

What should I consider before buying a Snowboard Bag?

For anyone new to winter sports and snowboarding in particular it can get quite expensive getting all the equipment and gear needed to indulge your winter pastime. There is the gear that you wear and the snowboard and related equipment. As the cost of buying this stuff can mount up it is natural to want to buy only the gear that is necessary. The snowboard bag might fit into this category as it does not seem o be an essential piece of equipment. This article will examine if you need a snowboard bag and what to look for if you plan to buy one. First up, if you are buying a new snowboard there is a chance that you can get a deal on a free bag. This might be more appropriate at the end of the snowboard season or even the beginning. Most retailers, both off and online, offer some kind of bonus so don't be shy to negotiate, as you are spending a lot of money on the board. If you live close to the ski resort that you plan to visit over the winter then a snowboard bag is not essential. The chances are that you will be driving to the resort so you can stow your snowboard in the car. Obviously a bag protects it more and you can tie the bag down easier than a board, but it isn't a priority to have a bag. If you think that you will be visiting different resorts or flying to the resort then a bag is essential. Most airlines won't let skis or snowboards onto the flight if they are not adequately packed. A snowboard bag will also protect the board from rough handling and potential scratching or denting of the leading edges. If you decide that you want a bag then you will be struck be the wide variety of choices available. There are bags and covers. Snowboard covers are lightweight and aimed at protecting the board from surface scratches. They are cheaper than bags and ideal for storing a snowboard or when you don't have to transport the board far. Snowboard bags come in all shapes and styles. Many bags are designed to carry more than one snowboard. They also have space for other gear to be stored in the bag. For people that do a lot of flying to resorts some snowboard bags come with wheels so that it is easy to handle in airports. You can choose the snowboard bag which can be worn like a backpack, or you can choose one that has straps with which to carry it about. In any case, you need to ensure that whatever other features your snowboard bag has, it must be water resistant and it should prevent the snowboard from becoming wet. Another important feature to look for in your snowboard bag is that it is durable and built to last and can withstand the elements as well as rough handling, and that straps can easily bear the weight of the snowboard.
