I had same error and tried the reset fix shown elsewhere on this site. It did not fix the problem.
The problem was mechanical as the cartridge cradle was not returning to the far right hand side (viewed from front of printer). I cleaned and lubricated the whole cartridge slide. Use silicon grease to lubricate the slide. The ink rest also needs to move to the far right so lubricate that slide channel too.
This can all be achieved by removing just the front panel (lugs only) and then the right hand side panel (4 screws and bottom lug)

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button. 2) When the Power LED is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button. 3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a service mode. (Waiting for menu selection) 4) When the LED lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green, starting with orange.) The erreor code E007 has to do with the fixing ***'y upper film ***'y or roller. It is saying that the film is not moving in and out of "HP" Most of the time it means that the fusing film is torn and not moving properly. If you are getting paper jams in the fusing area and or unfixed or smeared copies. You most likly need to have the fusing film ***'y replaced. It could also be that it is out of place and needs to be readjusted. The only problem is that it's a little tricky to get to and not a bad idea to have a new film to replace the old one while you have it out. Good Luck
