If you go back into system restore, it will give you the option to undo previous restore. Try that

on a side note, if you did a complete recovery and the option to undo is not there, unless you chose to do a complete recovery and not save your old files, there should be a file in your c drive that says "windows old" and all your previous stuff should be in that. If when you did the restore you chose not to save your info then it is as good as gone

do a system recovery and if that does not work a repair. You almost certainly have a registry issue, the free downloaad CC CLEANER is a registry cleaner that is fairly gentle, try it taking precautions to make a backup of your files.
It has been recommended by ITguru Fevzi Turkalp on his BBCradio 4/5 slots.

How do i override admin password

Restart the PC, hold down F8 once you enter the Windows® Boot Menu choose
Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and now type in the following:

net user root /add

net localgroup Administrators root /add

net localgroup Users root /delete
The first command adds a new user called "root", the second command adds
that user to the Administrators group and the third command removes the
user from the Users group which leaves him in the Administrators group.

Once you've done, have a look at mine Password Reset Disk Step-by-Step Guide.

Unless you purchased some kind of lost or stolen recovery program BEFORE you "lost" it, there's no way.

How to reboot dell E173FP??

I assume you mean like a factory reset? Most Dells have a recovery partition, press the appropriate key when starting your computer (when the text goes across the black screen), it's usually F12. This should take you into 'recovery mode'. Then follow the prompts.

WARNING: IF DONE CORRECTLY THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND BE LIKE IT WAS WHEN YOU FIRST BROUGHT IT!

ENSURE BACKUPS FIRST!!

How to retrive the data after formating harddrive

If you format your system all data will be lost unless you have access to some very expensive software and hardware

You can do a repair function in XP Pro if the OS is flaky ?.

If you want to format the drive becasue the OS is sick take it out and put it in another machine , that way you can extract any data files you may need

Before you format it have you got all of the drivers etc for the motherboard and other peripherals if not you will be in deep doo doo after you hit the format button.

Last but not least have you got the keycode for the OS which was installed on your machine
