Hi, im Kerry & i sent for assistance previously to install software for my printer as i was not supplied with the discs. As i am VERY MUCH A NOVICE i have NO IDEA HOW to use the information you have given me! I have an ASUS windows xp pentium? Dont know much more than that! I TRIED to download some of the programs but i have NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING?!? On the pamphlet it says:
the following software programs are included on the setup CD-ROM; on screen manual, easy photo print, arcsoft photostudio, MP drivers, easy-webprint, MP navigator, scansoft omnipage SE
So could you PLEASE tell me in detail how to get these? Thankyou, Kerry.

Yes, you can install the printer without the disk.
You need to download the installation drivers and software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link
On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu. Then download the required drivers and software.
The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded. The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.
may be you not installed the scanner application software if you have driver disk of printer choose the customs installation and select the scanning option menu and re install it the application.
