Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX.If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the videofiles to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer.Click on this link for instructions on converting videofiles for MP3 players :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r5874192-play_videos_mp3_player
PLAY VIDEOS ON THE MP3 PLAYER Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. There are commercial and freeware video converters on the Internet. Use Google to search for Video converters. I found these converters useful, Kate’s Video converter, Any Video converter and CI Video Converter. I suggest you try some freeware types first and convert a video file, then test this converted video file on your MP3 player. To copy/download your video files to your MP3 player, connect the USB cable from the MP3 player to the USB port on the computer. Open the video folder on the MP3 player and copy and paste the video file/s from the computer to the video folder on the MP3 player.
You can load 'suitable' Video files (MPEG4/WMV/AVI) via Internet Explorer in the same manner as for your Audio files but in the appropriate folder(s) on your Player. If you cannot use EasyRip, there are other 'Video Converters' that could be used to convert your Video fles to your Player supported format. You can determine what is a 'suitable' video (or Audio for that matter) format by using Windows Explorer 'Properties' for a known files on your player.

Unlike most devices the Philips 3020 will only play videos that are converted using the software that came with it and it will only open wmv files. So these are the steps that you need to do to successfully to play video on the 3020:
1) convert video into wmv format using any wmv converter (unless it is already in wmv format). I use WinAVI video converter and it works perfectly.
