Question about Microsoft Office Outlook 2007: Windows
Have installed mobile device center 6.1
have installed micorsoft outlook 2007
the ONLY thing that sync's is email...???
on my previous window XP (I760Samsung) contacts, calender, task, notes...sync'd perfectly...???
on my VISTA BASIC desk top neither I760 nor Samsung Omnia would sync contacts, calender, task or notes. The only box on mobile device 6.1 (during setup was email) the other boxes not populated. This process started 12-7-2008 (that is how long I have own the new products)...The techs on the other side of the world (very poor English) have no clue....I am stumped, help please............

go to tools, option, mail setup, send and receive make sure the send imemdiatly when connect is checked.
back out the outlook and click on send and receive on the tool bar.
you might have to click on send/reciver on the tool bar few times in order for the porgram to configure what you want.

Unless you are trying to sync with another Microsoft Exchange Server (say at your new Job) or you are running an Exchnage server at home on a dedicated server.. you will not be able to set your phone up with exchange.
One Suggestion I may have would be to setup outlook on your phone to connect to your email via Imap4 or POP3.
You might want to remove the activesync partnership to your old company if you havent done so allready to help get rid of the exchnage sync error's.
Hope this helps.

I have a Lenovo laptop (no mouse), and I got myself into the same pickle. Now I know how.
I opened a message (reply to any message), held Ctrl and scraped down along the right side of the touchpad (the equivalent of the scroll bar control) and my font decreased in size. I "scrolled" to where I wanted it and closed the outgoing message window and now I'm fine.
Hope that helps.
