Ijoy 100 does not go up and down

When you hit the lower back function, it bucks a few times and turns off. It functions in the upper position fixed and goes through the roller motions correctly. It turns off in all program modes in about 10 sec.

FYI, my girl bought the IJoy 100 for me for christmas at Linens and things in their deep discount, going out of business sale. All sales final. Needless to say, she was balling her eyes out when she found it less than perfect when fully gone through. I am Mr. Fix it. Trust me, I am the perfect guy to give a fu€ked up piece of equipment to fix and truly appreciate how much you saved on it!!

I further investigated the sitch and found a bent screw shaft,2 broken mounts, and a broken sensor. Some idiot must have dropped something on its back bone in the store. Note to all. It is fairly fragile, apparently.

It's fixable, but the zippers don't work on the back. I opened it from the front by cutting along the stitching in the front, under the outer zip cover. After my discovery, I called IJoy themselves and were very helpful. I am purchasing the "all in one afixed roller assembly attached to the back wooden plate with all connecters and sensors for only $125+ shipping. Not bad, since I am not a dealer/ warranteed refurbisher etc...

The only problem for me is the stitching after having to do major surgery to this beautiful piece of luxury equipment. This ***** never gets tired or cramped hands, like I do giving a massage,LOL.

BTW the frickin' foot and leg massager is mint! I have chronic foot pain from 20 years on ladders hanging gutters and powerwashing, gaining 25 lbs in the last year etc... You have to get one.

2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo, lights come one intermittently, horn came on unexpectedly and wouldn't turn off. How do I fix that?

Lights intermittent can be caused by switch or relay. Try swapping the Low Beam relay with another similar relay (horn relay is a good choice) to see if that resolves it. These relays are in the Junction Block--may be under the hood or in the car but not in the big box by the battery). If this doesn't fix it, the problem is likely the headlamp switch.

Horn coming on is usually caused by a broken switch or stripped wire insulation inside the steering column. You would usually have to take the steering wheel off to fix it, and this requires special tools; however, if the problem happens to be under the steering column shroud, you may be able to fix it without taking off the steering wheel. Take the shroud off and see if you can follow the black/red horn wire. Follow it as far as you can to check for stripped insulation contact with any metal. If you lights switch is bad, you can also change that while you have the shroud off.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Image runner c5870 error E0008-0001. How can i solve this problem?

that error happend because the last time the fixing assembly was rebuilt and or replaced the counter wasn't reset. what you need to do is go into service mode and clear the counter for the upper fixing roller and lower fixing roller.

to get into service mode you need to hit the additional functions key
the 2&8 at the same time
then the additional functions key again

this should get you in service mode even though there is an error code....if it doesn work the first time you try it shut the machine off and turn it back and try again. once into service mode

you need to hit the copier button....
then go across to the last tab .....counters...

click on it then click on drbl-1

then you will scroll down till you see

fx-up-rl click on it then hit the C button on the control panel where the numbers are and it should reset it back to 0

and then you need to click on

fx-lw-rl and do the same with it
fx-ex-rl and clear it as well

then you should be able to turn the machine on and off and it will come back to life

SHIFT LOCKED ON

There should be a function key that is a light blue on the lower left. Hold that down and hit the NUM lock key at the upper right.

What happened is that you turned the numlock on just like on a regular keyboard but on a laptop, its a secondary function key where the letters double as numbers when the function numlock is turned on.

give it a try and let me know.
Good luck

Is the caps lock light illuminated? If so, you might have to hold shift and hit caps lock to turn off the caps lock. This is an option for old typists who came from manual typewriters that you might have turned on by mistake.
