Turn off power, unplugg unit, very carefully check speaker wire connections making sure no wires are touching each other or the back of the unit same at speakers connections. Also check speakers. Blown drivers can short terminals internally. This is the most likely problem. Remove the short, unit will come back on

Without knowing your exact model, I can only predict that it should. Contact a knowledgeable sales person to check for sure .... or ask Mr. Google the question using your exact Name and Model Number.
Good Luck.

Where do i find a connector cord for my powered subwoofer model no. sp-pwm606

There are a few on eBay. Search for "JVC THM505 cable" and check the 'include description box'.

If you need the manual...

Hi i have a older jvc stereo and i have klh audio system model 9706 satellite and i do not know how to do the wiring i can get three spks workig but thats it can u help me do the wireing my jvc has 4 spk...

You can use 4 speakers. Connect 2 speakers to the A system of the JVC and the other 2 to the B system. Then select in JVC the A+B speakers position. As your receiver is stereo, this is the way you could best distribute the sound. However, if you have only 3 speakers, it would be dangerous to try wiring the third one without changing the whole impedance. So you may use 2 speakers.

I have a acustimass 9 system , but i dont kno whow to plug it

The plug design they use is proprietary. So you would have to cut off the plug and connect your own jack to the wiring to be able to use it elsewhere.

If there is no power at all, then try bypassing surge protector, check power cable, and check if power cord is fused.

If unit has power but does not start, then it is on protection.

Protect mode will kicking whenever a fault is detected.

Causes that can start protect mode are:

Electrostatic harges on internal circuits.
Leave the unit unplugged for power for one hour or so, this will allow discharge.

Bad speaker wiring.
Check speaker wiring, try unplugging and plugging back, or start after removing one speaker at the time.

Internal fault.
Internal fault is the natural cause for protect mode. If all the above did not work, then the problem is a blown component or an internal fault. In this case the unit must be taken apart , tested and repaired by an experienced person.
If the unit is less than one year old, or if you want to get service, call Sony at the phone number listed on the product documentation.

Regards.

JBL Driver Identification?

This tweeters are part of some home audio models made by JBL in the late 80's beginning of the 90's.
I have some of them around. Will have a look and come back.

Subwoofer.......

Please check your model number, I can not find it on the JVC service website.

This is a powered sub-woofer I think. You need to have a thick black cord that connects the sub to the head unit. Then the satellite speakers get connected to the speaker jacks on the sub-woofer box. The sub-woofer should also be plugged into an A/C outlet on the wall.

The speaker outputs are labeled right there where you connect the speaker wires. You should see a red and black connector for each speaker and they are labeled "front right" "front left" "center" "rear right" "rear left".

If you do not have the thick black cord you need to connect the head unit with the sub-woofer, you can not use this system.

If you look at the head unit and give me the model number on it, I may be able to find the part you need. But I must have a good model number to work with, preferably from the head unit.

Units going into auto protect are usally due to open or dead short conditions to keep the system protected from blowing the final amps. based on what you suggested I woould test or change out the cables 1st.
