You would need to contact Dell about this as Dell does not use industry standard motherboards in their older computers. I hope this helps.

My Dell optiplex gx 270 tower's chipset heats up and system shuts down and my friend's gx270 mother board is burnt due to same reasons

check the Cmos battery and computer RAM modules make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets on some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

check you CPU make sure its securely seated and has thermal grease might be getting to hot

another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time putting to much strain on the CPU central processing unit

hope this helps

I want to know how many RAM memories(in GB) can reach the motherboard M810D

You can calculate it yourself.
a = the number of simm slots
b= the maxium value of ram chip the moher board allows

there for the total is a * b ram memory
eg 2 slots , 512mb max memory chip size = 1024mb memory max

Would A 1GB PC3200 run in the K7s5a alone.

According to the specs the max amount of ram is 1 GB and max speed is pc2100 so a pc3200 would not run on it unless the board was able to clock the speed down of that single stick of ram.

I was not able to find the max amount of ram per slot on a quick search but most likely it would be 512 mb per slot for a max of 1 GB between the two DDR slots.

at Newegg you can find DDR 266 1 GB kits (2 x 512mb) which would get you the 1 GB of ram.

I have a Azza PT-693BTX motherboard and i am trying to upgrade memory. Once installed it only reflect 1/2 of the capacity i.e. 512 mb show as 256 mb. I also have a PIII 748 mhz and would like to upgrade...

This board is now long in the tooth and will only support a max of 512mb in each slot upto a max of 1.5 Gb, however the chipset restriction will only allow it to "see" single sided ram memory, if the memory used has chips on both sides it will only read one side hence half the real memory is recognised. So use single sided 512mb for max memory yield. CPU is socket 370, the fastest made was the 1400 version using 133fsb, which your board supports, not sure if your bios would recognise this chip, however they were discontinued in 2003 so finding one would be difficult!

Will this motherboard use 1gb ram memory 184 pin

Since it uses ddr 2 RAM you should use pairs. Your max supported on this board is 2 GB so if you want to max out you could install 2 x 1 GB. Hope this helps.
