First of all turn off the TV completely for 5-10 min. let it cool and then turn it back on.

If you are using a surege protector try and connect to a wall outlet or a different outlet.

If the tv still has the same problem its a problem with the Power Control Board\Digital processing Board. The TV needs to be repaired.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, the blinking green light indicates auto protection has kicked in. Pls try:

  • unplug from the mains for an extended period of time;
  • press the System Reset button on the front panel;
  • other possibilities include probable leaky/faulty capacitors.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

This problem could be as simple as a bad lamp. Has thr lamp been replaced? On the front of the tv, push and hold menu and input buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. You will see the timer light start flashing a code. It will blink afew times....pause and blink a few more times. It will vary. It could blink once pause and blink twice. Let me know what the code is and I can help you. Thanks

Its just the simple problem of some of the prts on the main board of the tv gets overheated and the tv shuts down .first it gives sound and due to that faulty or weak component on the main board which gets heated it does not gets continued and shuts down. u just need to check out on the main board of your tv for that faulty capacitors or ICs thart has turned bad .u can check this out with a multimeter.and replace the faulty. u can get the new replacement component at  www.radioshack.com just check it out and it will work properly after that.as this is the common problem faced by many customers and it get repaired very easily by replacing the faulty components, thanks.

This sounds like overload protection. How long have you owned the television? Once I have more information I can assist you further. Please don't request more information until I can assist you further.
Thanks,
lee

Mitsubishi WD-62525 TV will not turn on

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast.Here's the instructions to replace it for a samsung ,it works like your mitusibishi:http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php The ballast has a sensor that detects when it's not able to power the lamp or if lamp is not responding,it will flash red when that sensor detects that.When you say: "it began to roll like the vertical and horizontal hold did not work then the sound went out" Do you mean you where getting horizontal lines? If you did that could be the Dmd.his is how it works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the light of the lamp goes through a tunnel that carries a color wheel(rotating disc with a gamma of colors that creates the colors on your tv)then the light of the lamp goes through the DMD board which is a chip composed of around 2 million pixels that creates the images and colors.When it starts to fail it will create black bars,pixelation,color distortion or white dots on screens. Usually when there's a green light it could indicate a problem with the power supply,sometimes some capacitors do go bad. Check all of this and comment on this answer to see how it went.

Timer light did not stop flash

Lamp is not the issue. It most likely is a your DM card. You most likely have some capacitors that need to be replaced. This is a terrible issue with this unit. Do a google search for "DM" and the model number and you should see hundreds of posts.

Green Timer lights blinks for about 10 sec. Then Lamp light, then nothing

Definitely sounds like a power supply problem. Check with your local TV repair/service center about getting it repaired or replaced.
