Question about Gateway MT3422 RTL Notebook
It is usually hold "fn" button (somewhere near the bottom of the keyboard) then press the "F2" button (near the top) whilst pressing "fn" that should have enabled your wireless

Make sure wireless router is on and it is configure properly .in your laptop wireless connection is not disabled. in run window type ncpa.cpl and press enter button it open network connection if the icon of wireless connection is not proper just right click on it and choose the option of enable also on your laptop press the wireless button. May be there is switch or the push button on you laptop press that also.
