Its not the control, its definitely a power/amplification/drive/amp issue. im familiar with pots, it wouldnt be acting the way it is popping out and in if it was the pot. It sounds like a compression pop when it goes out then lightly compression pops as it comes back in. basically, a better way to describe this would be that when i turn the input level of music on the computer down to 25% i can turn the stereo to max and it still works perfectly, but if i turn the computer volume up, it cuts out and goes silent like it dont have the juice to go that high anymore.

I have an RCA Tablet RCT6773W22 Android Version 4.4.2 The tablet is in Silent Mode.

I'm betting the volume switch is actually stuck and that the sound is just going down to "silent" the moment you release the "up" button. Does the sound get loud and just fade away? If so then that's probably it.

Switch off speaker phone on dash htc

When you are calling somebody, click menu, then click Turn Off Speakerphone. If you want to disable the system volume, go to the volume control settings (Start, settings, click more, click more again, then click Volume Touch Strip.) Once there, you can set the touch strip to work when in a call, or for calling and when your on the home screen. If you don't want any volume on your HTC Dash, you can set the volume strip to work with the system and in call volume, and then turn the volume all the way down, and then change the setting to just work with in call volume. You can also go to profiles, and select the silent mode, but make sure you change all the sounds to the quietest as possible (ie for call, select silent, and for reminders, select vibrate.) Hope this helps.

I cant hear in comming calls, it flashs and goes to recording but no sound. Anyone know why ?

Phone is in silent mode. Check your owners manual or user guide for how to change out of silent mode. Try turning up the volume at the main screen, this works for Samsung phones :)

Washing machine will not start wash - just beeps - key on display

Press and hold the Rinse Plus button and wait for the washer to start emitting a tone.

Whilst you are pressing and holding the Rinse Plus button, the tone increases in volume from low to high and then it briefly goes silent, before it starts over agian.

If you release the Rinse Plus button immediately the tone goes silent, then this will turn off the beeping.

If you don't release the Rinse Plus button in time, just continue to press and hold the button and the tone will cycle around again from low to high to silent.

Hope that helps.
