Just go to www.mio.com and download the manual for your product. That's what I did. It was a piece of cake.

install your miomore desktop software from the MIO DVD and under TOOLS you have an option called: "Reinstall software on your Mio."

You can restore it from disk provided you with the device. Apparently you have a problem with the activation of the maps

I have searched for the user manual myself, both around and from the internet but could not find any. Most of the times, the producers do not make any extras available so, for you to get a manual, you will have to contact the producer for a user manual. Once you contact them, they will reply you or even send you a user manual after mailing them. You will have yo go to their website, then you become a member, after becoming a member, then you go to the contact us link that is on the page, it will bring up a page for you to state your need then send it. In no time, they will send you a reply with instructions or even mail you a user manual for you gps.
