first verify that the fuser drawer is inserted correctly and there is no debris in the fuser connector. Also check the fuser for paper wraped around the roller. Next, enter service mode ( 'additional functions', 2&8 same time, 'additional functions') press copier->function->clear->err->ok. Then power cycle the device. NOTE: Only do this procedure ONCE! Repeatedly resetting this error can cause the fuser to melt down or even cause a fire. Allow the fuser to cool for at least 20 min before attempting again. If this does not work then there is a problem with the fuser heater or temperature sensing and a new fuser or additional repairs may be required.

When the ROM Error message is displayed on the control panel, this
will indicate an issue with the Flash DIMM on the Image Processor PCB.
re-flash the system software for
that specific model. If system software does not resolve the error,
replace the DIMM Assembly. When replacing the DIMM, you may be required
to flash the system software to it's latest version.
iR 2010F FG6-9454-000, Dimm assembly.
As a temporary work around, power on the iR while holding down the
STOP key. This may boot the iR to a ready state and copies can be made.
SOURCE: HAVE CANON IR C6800 WITH THE FOLLOWING ERROR CODE... E000001-00ff
It is a Fuser error code .
Could be a poor connection with the draw connector on fixing feeder unit.
Try shimming all three connectors on the fuser draw side can resolve the
issue. Another thing to check is the upper fuser roller for flat spots
this can also cause fuser error codes
