Question about Sony KDF-50E2000 50" HDTV
Replace fan by removing entire rear panel. Look at lower rear left of rear of TV. Dusty vents are a sign that debris may have entered the fan bearings. Remove screws and be careful not to lose the rubber vibration mounts. The part is made by Phillips. Check for part number 178733321 at tritronicsinc.com for about ten dollars. I'm ordering a fan today.
