Question about PfaFF Creative 7570
I have always enjoyed my machine and embroidery unit but after not using it for a year; it does not work??? it stated: change the batteries which I did but still get the same message I asked an owner of a Pfaff dealership today and she said there was a glitch in this message and when that happened I had to press two buttons together BUT she couldn't remember the numbers. She said she would try to find her old notes on it. She was extremely nice but didn't solve the problem. Here's what happens: I insert disc7560 which I always use for letters; pick a memory spot etc. etc. but when I press in a letter and then enter; the enter button doesn't work and therefore when I go to save it into the memory spot; nothing shows up. I have used this machine for years and it ahs worked perfectly (the batteries had not leaked or anything like this. Hope you can help. Thanks M. Burr.

Check your bobbin tension also. Embroidery bobbin thread is finer than sewing thread and you may need to make adjustment on the bobbing case by turning the small screw slightly. The type of stabilizer can affect your embroidery. An excellent reference for machine embroidery is Embroidery Machine Essentials by Jeanine Twigg, available on Amazon.

A lot of people don't know this, but there is a dimmer dial on the front of your machine, located just under the display. Often it gets bumped and the display disappears. If not then you need a fuse in the base plate or worst case a new circuit board.

I had the same problem and it was my power supply. I've had more than my share of problems with this machine and it's only 3.5 years old. Good luck.
