Hello Randy, the terminals are located near the SATA ports. read your motherboard labels near it and you'll find the connectors, its very basic, you can figure it out. plus signs are green for the power led and orange for the HDD. read the wire connector of your PC casing.

I need to figure out where to plug in the Power LED and the power SW wires to the mother board

Hi
The link for the motherboard manual can be found here, on which there will be a pinout diagram of the Fpanel pin headers
http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/download/download_manual_detail.php?pFILE_TYPE=Manual&fSEARCHTEXT=kt7a

USUALLY the wires are marked as:
Power switch: PW
Power led = Pled

On the motherboard you will see (bottom right corner I think), a group of about 8 pins in a block, this is the Fpanel pinset. on the motherboard next to each pin SHOULD show the wire connections as described above, but consult the manual to be sure.. this is a VERY old mobo

Hi:
To solve your puzzle, you need to find the manual for your motherboard. If you don't have it still, almost all of them are available online at the manufacturer's support website. The manual always has the pin out diagram for the motherboard, and from there its just a matter of plugging the small connections together. Remember that connections for LED lights have polarity, meaning that they need hooked up one particular direction for the light to work, but any switch connection doesnt matter.

Hope this helps

There is a small block of pins usually on the bottom right corner of the mother board to hook up front panel connections, you will have to read the board around it and somewhere it will tell you which wires go where.

How to hook up the front panel switch for a Quicksilver2-cmt motherboard

You first need to know the make and model number of the motherboard. Most mobo's have the make and model printed on the board itself, other times there will be a sticker.

locate these and let me know what make and model and i can do my best to provide you with the manual.

Thanks,
