It should be error in file. Macromedia projectors are standalone and should work in normal condition.

HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PLAY BIG FISH GAME AND IT TELLS ME MACROMEDIA PROJECTOR STOPPED WORKING AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. HAVE BEEN PLAYING THESE GAME FOREVER AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE WHAT DO I NEED TO DO

Simply open up your Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Program Files\Princess Isabella - A Witch's Curse. Right-click on the file "Princess.exe" and select "Properties". Under the Compatibility tab, select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP - Service Pack 2 or 1", whichever one you have (if you don't know, try 2 first, then 1 if it doesn't work). "Apply" and "OK" and you should be all set.

I'm operating on windows vista and every time I try to play a game, it tells me macromedia projector has an error and must close. I have tried everything to fix this, it just won't work. Any suggestions on...

Hi there,If you have Vista instead of XP, click on the desktop shortcut to the game, go to "Property", click on the "Compatiblity" tab and put a check in "Run this program in compatiblity mode for:, now try all the choices in the dropdown box (win95, win98/win me,etc. etc) one at a time til it works. Hope this works.
Good Luck!

Macromedia projector error

I had the "macromedia projector" error with the CSI game. This worked for me:

1). Open “QuickTime Preferences” (right-click the “QuickTime” Q icon in lower right corner of Windows taskbar).

2). From “Browser Plug-in” tab, click the button labelled “MIME Settings…” then click “Use Defaults” and hit “Ok”.

3). Now go to “Video Settings” tab and choose “Safe Mode (GDI only)”. (Note: QuickTime versions 7 and above, make sure “Enable Playback of Adobe Flash tracks” is also checked).

You should now be able to run the game without errors, good luck.
