You will have no choice but to go to the dealership, bring your serial number with you and there is a fee involved. They can find the code for you.

Bought a mecedes 2002 clk320 two months ago and wife used car and some how got radio locked up when you now turn radio on it says (code) on radio screen, then if you push buttons for phone it says (wait)...

you will need to enter a code to get the radio to work again. if the code is not in the owners manual, you will probably need to call a dealership to get the code. you will probably need the vin number of the car.

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard.

If it is the manufacturers fitted stereo and If you have no manual with it written in eg. owners handbook. and it is not written on the stereo itself then you might get the code by phoning nissan with your chassis number.

Radio locked on purchased vehicle

To reset from ERROR 7 leave it SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself. This could be several hours.

Make sure you have the correct code.

Unfortunately Honda codes are very difficult to obtain for free from anywhere ...so try here first (for free)

https://radio-navicode.honda.com

If they cannot provide your code then you will have to try your HONDA Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Chevrolet HHR 2007, lock on radio

Your radio has an antitheft device built in, you cannot disconnect the battery with activating this device. CHeck your owners manual for the code to reset your radio. Otherwise you may have to call a dealer for assistance

I need radio unlock code for 1996 honda civic ex

Radio security codes from the factory are always included with the owner's manual. Many new car buyers remove the "code cards" and/or owner's manuals for whatever reason, and are lost forever. The only alternative is to contact a Honda dealer and provide VIN number and possibly the serial number from the radio itself (located on the bottom of the unit).
