Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop

I get blue screen of death on 5 of my 6 logins.

Dell 3000 gives me a blue screen of death when 5 of the logins try to login. (it only works well with one login). It says that it cannot recognize hardware and to remove it. There is no new installed hardware or software. I try updating drivers but still getting same problem.

The defective files are (more than likely) your registry. Just to find out, run a registry diagnostic program and see how many errors it reports, and look at the nature of the errors and which keys they are located in.

Please clarify, are the logins all administrative rights? Or are they limited rights?

Also, report back what percentage of disk space is used and available. (Right click Start button, left click explore, Right click local disk letter, left click properties.) Also need to clarify are you getting Windows updates automatically or are they turned off?

Have you tried using the Restore routine to return your system to an earlier time from before the trouble appeared?

Unless the partition (often D:) with the Restore info is somehow damaged, you should be able to replace the defective files without losing your own documents.

When the computer is booting up try to boot into safe mode and go into the device manager. To get there right click on my computer and select properties. In the device manager look for any devices that have any icons next to them and disable(unless it is video or something important) then restart the computer enable the device and update drivers. If this does not work let me know
