HD NOT RECONISED BY COMPUTER

Try a drive dock on the Removed Hard drive. The usual problem is the enclosure.

change your dealership ,infact i would say this is not a ford reconised dealer ship,it might advertise ford full stop.Any good dealer would reconise this problem as the switch and i have taught 16/17 year old who would have had your problem fixed and sorted in 10 mins.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,

Try another computer (if available) to see if the player is reconised by that one. If it is reconised, there may be something wrong with your computer (windows should still reconise the device as a mp3 player, but would not be able to open it without the drivers). If you can't try another computer, try a linux live cd (I recomend Ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/) the live cd will not modify your computer unless you tell it to. To use the live cd insert it in the cd drive, reboot and in the bios menu select boot from cd. Using the live cd will allow the computer to run linux (another operating system) without installing it, meaning that you won't need to worry about iharming your computer. I reccomend this because if you use the live cd, you will have a different OS looking at the device, like having a fresh set of eyes, and it may be able to open the player (Ubuntu has great driver support).

you need 2 (two ) vga ports one4 in your laptop and one in the tv and a vga cable and afther plug that in your computer will reconise the tv thanks

it is may be due to the usb device driver problem. go to the device manager and see that the usb mass storage driver is installed in ur system . if not then install it from ur motherboard cd and then plug it and certainly it will work.

Click on the following:
1. Start
2. Settings
3. Connections
4. USB to PC
5. Click on Activesync (Sync with Outlook) option
6. Ok

First format your memocard in PC using FAT.
Then insert in to phone and format again. If this doesn't help then memocard is corrupted...

If the system goes upto Boot option.. then please try to run it in Command Prompt. Then runthe Checkdisk command by entering the following:

chkdsk /f/r

this will check and fix any error occurs on your Harddisk.

Most likely the spindle got stuck. That's really bad.

try to set BIOS as auto detect
turned off computer & unpluged main power lead
unpluged IDE CD/DVD-ROM if any
