Question about Washing Machines
I just splurged on new LG Tromm washer and dryer and I'm having a problem with both which I didn't ahve with my old front loader Frigidaire washer and dryer. The clothes ball up inside very tightly in both washer and dryer, and I have to stop the dryer to straighten them out several times during the cycle. The price I paid for these monsters makes me really #($)*(#-off when I have this problem whcih I didn't have with my old trusty ones! Dryer balls (2 of them) don't seem to help. Any thoughts?

You may have to remove the lower panel and clean the drain pump filter. Easy job, once the panel is removed the filter will be right in front. Get a bucket and unscrew the filter cover (3 very small screws at the bottom of the front panel) and you should find a ton of lint and stuff in there. This model has a pressure switch that detects if there is water in the tub. If so it will do this pause and slow spin. Once the pump filter is clean you should be good again. It worked for me.

Try not to wash large items with small items the large items like sheet will twist around the small item. causeing twisting and wrinkling. Also If you are overloading the clothes or underloading the clothes they will come out wrinkled. I would try to do some testing wash a load of only towels then wash a load of only t-shirts and other light weight items that you may have. Then do just a load of your jeans. What happens? Please let me know

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'purchased approx. 2 yrs ago. always had trouble'?
Even whilst under guarantee/warantee?
I need to explain our situation. The washing machine forum is just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing mostly mechanical and electrical/electronic problems and giving guidance on these for free on the web. In addition the members are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer of washing machines or detergents whatsoever so we have to be carefull what we say;-0)
Sorry but all I can suggest is that you call your local Samsung service agent to see if it can cure your problems. You do not want to go to the expense of purchasing a different washer!
If this has clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
