SOURCE: Just bought a tent trailer with a Dometic Fridge.
You need to make sure that you follow the manufacturer's recommendations for using the unit with each specific power source. It's important that you have the all switches in the proper position, based on what power source you're using.
Here's the manual for your model, save a copy and print it out and take some time to review the section #3 Operating Instructions on page 6.

Check your 12 volt ground
Check the fuses in the back under the cover
Other than that sound to be a bad control board

Are you familiar with the location of your heating element for 110-120 VAC.
DO you have a multimeter, or AC voltmeter, and know how to use it?

Check the contunitity of your calrod. You should be able to remove it form the boiler area and test both contunity and opertion by plugging in directly to a mans power supply. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WAY TO REMOVE THE POWER IF IT WORKS!
