If you have a Live account you could try downloading the latest updates. Make sure you have plenty of room around the console, as it doesn't like to get too hot. It needs lots of fresh air. If you get red blinking lights you may search google for it to see what may be wrong.

Is it the same game ewrery time, or is it every game? You may have to download an update for some specific games. If none of this helps you may call their support. They should be able to help you further.
