It is easy to hook up two printers to one computer. One can use the traditional parallel port while the other uses the newer USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. Probably your old printer will need to use the parallel port connection. A new printer will more than likely be USB compatible.
Remember when you are printing, one of these two printers will probably be your default printer. When using the other printer, you will need to change the choice of printers. This can usually be done right from the Print screen. After you have clicked on Print, you will be given a drop down Print Box. The selection of printers can be seen by clicking the down arrow next to the Name box. Click on your printer of choice to select it; then click OK to print.

Use a Jet Direct EX Plus3, model J2593A, for connecting 2 HP 2000c's to same computer at same time. It can be configured how ever you wish, for example, printer 1 for photo paper, printer 2 for text, etc.Available on eBay for about $20.
I repair HP2000C printers professionally and offer refurbished 2000C's with trade in allowance for existing 2000C printer. www.glassmoyer.net/HP2000C.

If your question is regading Rimage Everest, Everest II, Everest III or Everest 600 printers, the answer is you can not successfully hook up more than one Rimage printer per computer. I have tried it with Everest II and Everest III. I can get both printers to print, but the print quality and alignment is poor.
