Bluetooth wont sync with my bluetooth enabled phone
I bought a motorola bluetooth earpiece from my aunt but cant figure out how to get it to work with my phone. I have a nokia 5300 music xpress. I turned bluetooth on my phone on and made it visable but still cant figure out why it wont work.
Re: bluetooth wont sync with my bluetooth enabled phone
This is not actually a solution, but when I had the same problem with my Jabra (which I think is one of the best), I took it to my phone store and they synched it for me. Lots of navigating around and knowledge of a code to input. Screw it, let them do it!

Enable bluetooth from the settings menu or bluetooth icon on your iphone. Set it to discovery mode (probably a menu choice. Should say searching on the screen once you've got it). Hold down the button that lights up on your earpiece for about 5 seconds or until it stays lit. I am not an iphone owner (yet) but that is the general way for all models. If you are prompted for a code try 0000. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
Go to the Motorola web site and find the user manual for the H500. The instructions are there. The passcode is probably 0000.
Go to the LG manual for Bluetooth to find out how to get the phone to search for the new device when adding a device. The steps are probably something like this:
1. Turn on the earpiece and the phone.
2. In the phone menu, go to Setup or Options, then Bluetooth, then Add Device.
3. Choose Search for a Device
4. The phone will find your earpiece, so select it
5. The phone will ask for the passcode, so enter it (again, probably 0000 but check the H500 manual)
6. Wait several seconds for them to synch.
7. You are ready to go
If you go in to your phones menu you will find a bluetooth snyc tool. The phone should pick up the signal if the earpiece is turned on. One thing this multifunction button does NOT do is turn the unit on and off. The entire switch itself slides up and down. There are times when you simply don’t want to bother with the earpiece, change wireless headphones, or don’t want to risk accidental calls. So the slider switch is a much easier way to keep track of whether or not the H670 is on or off than waiting for a blinking blue light that may never come. Have a great day.
Try this link. It solved my issue www.scribd.com/doc/280088/motorola-h500-bluetooth-earpiece-manual. Basically what you need to do is power the earpiece off. Make sure that your IPhone is not currently attempting to discover bluetooth devices (i.e. Bluetooth is OFF). Hold the On button on your earpiece (it has the symbol of a phone on it) for 6-10 seconds. The light on the earpiece remains lit. Now your earpiece is in discovery mode. On your IPhone, go to Settings, General, Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth ON. Now your phone and your earpiece are both in discovery mode. When you see "Headset" listed, select it and enter the password "0000". Your IPhone is now paired with your H500 headset.
The headset will automatically pair with the last device that it was
paired with. You may want to remove that just in case. I am sending the
users guide along with this. Also always start with the blue tooth
turned off, the pass key is 0000 (four zeros).
Make sure you have connected the bluetooth correctly, if you have and
it still doesent work, your phones bluetooth capabilitys my be Gliching
or broken. Also make sure you turn the volume All the way up.
The PIN is 0000 (four zeros). I own one of these devices and you will need to enter four zeros when prompted. Make sure you have the Bluetooth function enabled on your phone, then turn your wireless headset on. Select "Add New Device" from your cell phone Bluetooth menu and it should work. Hope this helps you.
there is nothing you can do about the delay as it's the time it takes for the bluetooth to send the signal to your earpiece to tell it the call is answered, the only way to stop any delay is to set your phone to auto answer in the bluetooth headphone settings or in the call settings.
