Question about Whirlpool 19.8 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator ED20TQXF
I HAVE A HOTPOINT 19.8 cubic foot Model CSX20EA. Water runs out from under the left front, enough to soak a dishrag in 7 days. I think the drain line is plugged, but can't find it or a drip pan. I have no icemaker in freezer. Can you tell me where the drip pan and drain line are located? i I hate to take the back off until I know what could be causing the leak. (Fridge and freezer are working fine. It's the leak that bothers me.)
If the floor of the freezer is full of ice, your defrost water drain tube is clogged. Remove the ice in the freezer bottom, find the top of the drain tube inside the freezer near the top of the ramped up area, about the size of your index finger and blast hot water through it with a turkey baster. About 4 cups of good hot water but not boiling
