This according to googled results, and somewhat verified by me:

For the Gentle Annie connect the white/orange/green wires together to from a
star point and the three other ends (red, yellow & blue) go to your 3 phase
rectifier.
You can leave the others hanging. Don't form the star point with the wire
that's green with a yellow stripe, that's the chassis earth. The brown,
purple, and brown with black stripe I think are sensing coils, with a star
point connected to the black wire. 1.4ohm each, whereas the main coils are
4.8ohm and apparently rated for 5A.

What does LD code mean on my whirlpool cabrio washer mean?

Ld flashes when the water level does not change after the drain pump is on.
Is the drain hose or the drain pump clogged?
Is the drain hose height greater than 96? ?
Is the pump running? If not, see TEST #7.
TEST #7 Drain/Recirculation
Perform the following checks if washer fails to drain or recirculate.
1. See Activation of Manual Diagnostic Test Mode, and perform the Manual: Pumps test.
2. Remove the console to access the machine/ motor control assembly. See Accessing & Removing the Electronic Assemblies.
3. Visually check that the P4 connector is inserted all the way into the machine/motor control. If visual check passes, go to step 4. If visual check fails, reconnect P4 and repeat step 1.
4. Remove connector P4 from the machine/ motor control and check resistance values of pump motor windings. Resistance values should match those shown in wiring diagram, page 7-1. If resistance values are good, go to step 7. If winding measurements are much higher (tens of ohms to infinity) than shown in wiring diagram, a problem exists in the motor winding or in the connection between the machine/motor control and the motor. Go to step 5.
5. Tilt machine forward to access the bottom of the machine and the pumps. See Figure 1, page 6-13.
6. Check the resistance at the pump motor. Remove the connector at the motor and take measurements across pump terminals. Measurements should be as shown in the wiring diagram. If winding measurements are much higher (tens of ohms to infinity) than shown in wiring diagram, replace the pump motor. If the resistance at the pump motor is correct, there is an open circuit in the wiring between the motor and the machine/ motor control. Repair or replace the lower wiring harness. If the pump motor windings and machine/ motor control check OK, repair or replace the pump. Be sure to check the pump and tub sump for foreign objects before replacing pump.
7. See Activation of Manual Diagnostic Test Mode, and perform the Manual: Pumps test.
8. If the Manual: Pumps test failed, then the machine/motor control has failed: Unplug the washer or disconnect power. Replace the machine/motor control assembly. Perform the Manual: Pump test.

Need to hook-up pond motor 115V , two speed , 3/4 3450 rpm-1/8 1725 rpm , with switch for speed slection.

We need to know what wires you have as far as connections to the motor AND the switch. I.e. Red white black green and ______?

Is the switch resistive or just a 2 position (high/ low) 15 Amp switch?

We also need to know how the the terminals on the motor board are labeled. i.e T1, L1, T2, L2. T3, T4 etc and ground. L1 Black L2 White for high speed Green for gorund. The other 2 colors will be for the slower speed winding.

Experimenting with electricity can be costly and VERY dangerous. I would do continutiy checks on the motor windings across L1 and L2 or T1 and T2 and the same for the 2nd winding terminals. Then do the same continuity check from the power wires through the switch and verify the winding resistance across the 2 power leads in BOTH switch positions BEFORE applying power.

Most reputable pump manufacturing companies have the winding terminals on the label or included with the pump with a basic wiring diagram.

FYI you can... use a gate valve for controlling output flow from the pump and run the pump at one speed as an alternative.

I am just being honest here.. without either a wiring diagram of your pump and switch assy it is difficult to pass "safe and sound" advice to you.

Thanks for using FixYa.

F&P ECS Gentle Annie, Frigidaire & Kelvinator model compatibility

Almost all parts are interchangeable- Gentle Annie and Frigidaire are all the same machines- only parts different are main power board in base of machine, and display board- everything else the same. Motors are interchangeable, as long as the plug connection is the same- there are two different types of plug connection (ie male and female plugs are opposite ways around).

How do i wire a potterton programable controller

Hi,

All you need to do is look at the wiring diagram on the back of the old room stat, you will have the following:

(normally wired with these colours)

OLD COLOUR CODING

Live (sometimes called common) - Red
Neutral - Blue
Switch Live - Yellow

NEW COLOUR CODING

Live - Brown
Neutral - Grey
Switch Live - Black

All you need to do is wire up the new stat with this in mind. (please note: if the wires are not colour coded like this then do not proceed and get an electrician)

Any problems or questions let me know

I hope this helps
