Re: LED timmer

Check to make sure the 'up' button is not stuck. There is nothing more you can do, as there are no user serviceable parts in this unit, & the problem is either a stuck button, or a faulty timer module.

My george Foreman grill will not heat up.. it worked yesterday.... the timer works fine... can this be fixed?

Unit costs too little to be repaired. Be sure to buy one with removable grills, they last tons longer.

Need cooking time for chicken leg quarters on George Foreman grill (not sure what model). It has low, med, hi, and a timer that goes up to 30 mins.

Hiyas I have cooked chicken on one of these and wit chicken breasts usually about 7 - 9 mins on medium, so with legs 12 - 15 mins i think its trial and error and until the juices run clear

The time knob on my Sunbeam Rocket grill stripped out. So I can't set the time. Is it possible to get a new knob?

I thought mine was stripped, but after pulling the plastic knob off, it was only the inside of the knob. I just use a screwdriver to adjust the timer until I can get the knob replaced.

Everything you described is normal, except not heating up.
When you first plug it in, you will see 'dashes' that tell you it is getting power.
When you press the Power Button, the grill will start at the Default Temp of 300F and the Timer starts at 5 minutes. You now change the temp to what you want.
It takes 5 minutes to get your grill to your tempreature, so the timer should 'count-down' as the grill heats up.
As for not heating up, I think you will need to get that 'looked at' for repairs.

No power or anything - unit is dead

do this test for heating coil: connect a second ac supply cord directly to the coils wires. does it heat? if so, a fix is feasible. the problem is either the thermostat or a blown component on the board. neither are easy

With the unit unplugged, check the elements to see if one has become unseated. A gentle push should seat them. Some elements are plug in & can come unseated.

Unfortunately it sounds like your control board has fried. Also unfortunately the warranty is only for a year, however control board replacement should be easy and cheap enough - contact these guys for details; The only reset is to unplug and plug back in again. Hope this helps :)
