Question about iLO (2 GB) MP3 Player

1 Answer

Not stupid just stumped

I haven't used my MP3 player in a while. Today I was listening to it and it worked fine. When I connecting to my computer to do some editing my player says ready but the computer says it is not responding. It will pop up to setup the player although I have used it many times prior without any problems. I use windows media player. When I go to open the device to delete some of the songs it goes all the way to internal storage and opens generic icons that do nothing. Is this garbage and time for a new player though it is fairly new or can it be fixed and I just can't figure it out. Please help me!!!! Thanks. yackangel

Re: Not stupid just stumped

Have you recently updated windows media player? Version 11 has many issues with some mp3 players that will get solved eventually, but teething problems at the minute. If that is the case, then roll back to media player 10. Another thing to try is a complete format of the player, although you will lose all your songs on it. ask again with pc operating system details if you want to try this and i can talk you through it. have a look through this site; You should find anything that is currently available to solve the problem, they have a slight site problem at the minute with downloads, but it should soon be solved/ If you get no luck then please post again - it really sounds like a firmware update would solve your problem. The only other thing worth a try is to see if you get exactly the same when connecting to a different pc. Hope this helps - please post again or call live if not :)

I have a 4GB Craig MP4 player and earlier today it was working perfectly fine. It turned off automatically and later I went to turn it back on to listen to it and it won't turn on or charge when connected...

Quite often there is a fault with USB charging. Do two things to confirm its not totally broken. First try another USB charger. Second and better- charge from a power outlet at home.

My Samsung YP-T9 MP3 Player wont turn on!!

I think holding down menu and the record button at the same time should fix it. I read the best solution and it just turned on. I was having the same problem, mine would not turn on either but just try pressing and holding down the record and menu button for about 5 seconds.

Can't see songs on GPX Mp3 player

what operating system is your computer.XP is the operating system recommended but you need windows media player 10.If you have them both you can move/sync files thru Windows Media Player(WMP) but they have to have a drm licence. If you've got Windows® 98SE, ME, or 2000 Professional. 5 just connect it, find My computer and you should see the player listed, double click and the files should be visible. I would check your friend's operating system to see what he/she used and if any problems occurred.
MTP” mode will only work, when your player is connected to Microsoft® Windows® XP and Windows® Media Player 10. The MP3 Player will only work in “USB” mode when it is connected to Windows® 98SE, ME, or 2000 Professional. 5

I Think I Have A Virsus On My Mp3

Since you have this type of problem the best way to solve this is to format the player, if you have a format option on your mp3 player menu you can use that, but if not just connect the mp3 player to your computer and format it from there....
