Another Tip!
1) verify what kind of audio conectors you have in your audio card, and verify what kind of video card, you has.
2) Video card, HDMI, output to HDMI input on your TV, the same cable.
and you are set.
just read the TV manual to send signal for that HDMI port.
Hope this help

Your tv must have the proper input for this. Your computer needs the same type of connector, do they both have any of these,
HDMI
component
vga
s video
dvi
rca jacks
you need to have the same connector from the output of your laptop, as the input of th tv, or monitor. Just think of the TV as a large monitor, because without a tuner, that is what it is. And you would need a fairly recent laptop to drive it. Something within the last few years should work, good luch, and if you aren't sure, don't do it. look at your tv manual, it should tell yu

Need best picture settings for tv, films and video games

Those are pre-sets. I would adjust your set the way you like to watch it. Don't use the pre-sets. Some sets will let you change the pre-set controls and others not. If your can, then adjust it the way you like it then save it as personal settings.

Kworld pc to TV - avi does not show on TV screen

This turned out to be due to weirdness in my laptop's onboard graphics card. If I set the external monitor to display the way an external monitor usually does, as a clone of the laptop screen, the videos show up blank. But if I set it as dual-screen (extend my desktop to this monitor) and drag the video app onto the second monitor, it works fine.

To Update Your Windows Media player download the K-Lite codex which will come with its own player and its better than VLC player, the only advantage VLC has is that one can easily integrate subtitles of all formats, other than that K-Lite is better. Hope it helps, Goodluck =)
