I need a NVIDIA video adapter for my dell D800 please

I am assuming this is a Dell Latitude D800; I found the driver for it here:
if you click the download link next to your part (the FX 5650) then install it after it finishes downloading, that should be all you need to do.
This is not a very new driver (dated back to 2005); I also checked the nvidia website ( While they have a 5 series FX driver available, it may or may not work will your Dell because of implementation differences made by OEM builders like Dell or HP. If you want to play games you might try the site, select your part + version of windows, and install it. (if you get an "unsupported hardware" or "supported device not found" type message then use the Dell driver.
If you are not gaming, etc. then the one from Dell should do just fine.

Hdmi wont work

The drivers may need to be re-installed. The drivers for the VGA and the HDMI are different as the HDMI also does the High Def audio. Look on the ATI site for the "Catalyst Suite" for your card. then just follow the instructions. It allows you to set up the ports individually. I hope this helps.

I am running on a Dell XPS and my dazzle dvd recorder wont work.

Hi and Welcome to fixya!

I suggest to you to double click on Instant DVD Recorder Icon and choose go directly to Advance mode. Click next. On step number 1 click the pull down arrow and choose dazzle DVC 100. Click on options and choose video input. If your cable connection is the yellow red and white cable then choose Video composite, If S-video cable then choose Video S-video. If you have a VHS player click VHS input and click okay.
Next when everything is done turn your camcorder, vhs, vcr and then hit the play button.

That is the time that the video image is showing to the preview screen of the computer. Still not showing disconnect the dazzle device and place to another usb port.

If your dazzle device is not showing under step number one, you need to download and install the driver to Pinnacle Website.

The display of video is not dependent on the video ram, but on the connection to the internet. Dialup just wont work, as the feed is too slow.

The Monitor Does Not Open Using My New Video Card

That is clear indication that you have a bad graphics card. Try to look for a pencil eraser and use it to clean the gold pins on your graphics card. I hope this helps. If your card still doesn't work, its probably defective.

It sounds like the power distribution circuit on your motherboard is shorting out your AC adaptor. The motherboard will need to be replaced or repaired.
