Leaking whirlpool washing machine

I have a whirlpool mod # LSB6300PW2 top loading washing machine that is about 4 yrs old. It begins leaking from the bottom front as soon as it starts to fill.  I put the washer on spin to get the water out and suds came out into the clear water that had pooled underneath. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ron

How can I tell if the Pump is bad? I have taken the machine apart and the pump is wet to touch on the outside, the hoses look fine, but before replacing any test I can do?

Probably the pump seal - you need to replace the pump, which is located at the front.

Hello. I also have a Whirlpool LSB6300PW2. Do you happen to know what the Part # is for the WATER INLET VALVE? I googled my washer model and all that comes up is: LSB6300PW1, or LSB6300PW3, or LSB6300PW4 . But I can't find LSB6300PW2.). I am certain my model is LSB6300PW2 because that is what is imprinted under the top lid of the washer. I am looking for the Genuine OEM Whirlpool Water Inlet Valve, not a generic. THANKS !

Sorry to say but they are right. The Calypso washer was a horible design given to whirlpool from maytag. I would suggest you go buy new machine. Buy someting that looks simple and easy to use. The more complicated the unit the more problems you will have down the road.

Drips from center of front cover when filling at 3-4 inches

after carefully reading this, the leak is at the machines water valves, or from them to hose to tub.

Leaking washer drain pump

Yes, the drain pump is a common leak area.
2 clips, 2 hoses and it pulls off.
If it has leaked for a long time you will have to get aggressive to get it off.
