Question about Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD Monitor
It is "Ilegal" yo watch and drive at the same time, therefore the manufacturers made a security feature that only allows the unit to function when the car is parked, this means that at the moment of installing there is a cable in the back of the head unit that is supposed to be conected to the emergency break so it detects when the car is parked and displays video. There is a very esay solution to this problem, you just have to install a switch to this cable instead of connecting it to the emergency brake. If you did not connect the cable at all it is not going to work. When you install the switch the unit resets every time the ignition is on so you will have to push the switch on and then off then press the ok button on the screen
