Re: printer not printing
Uninstall everything. Reboot. Unplug the printer. Install the software. Reboot. When everyting is up. Plug in the printer. Have the driver disc ready, install the printer. Reboot, go to settings, printers and see if the printer is listed. If it is, make it the default printer.Good luck

You can download the driver from the HP customer care website free of
charge. I should remind you that the driver is a large file and it will
take a long time to download if you have a dial-up connection. Better
use a download accelerator like orbit to speed it up and resume if it
Click here to open the required webpage. this driver is for Win 7 32 bit.
Select show-all and it will display links to the driver. There are
updates which you should also download and install. The installation is
very simple, just download the driver and double click on it to run or

Got to: start>settings(classic view)>control panel>printers and faxes. An icon for your printer should be there. Right click the printer icon and select "use as default". While in control panel, you can run the troubleshooter. Sometimes it works. Sometimes the software doesn't install correctly. Uninstall the software from the add/remove software in control panel, then re-install the printer software.
Hi, I would suggest you update your printer drivers, try this, follow instructions exactly as written, do not use installation cd:
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop(watch for the light yellow bar at the top of window viewing pane, click on this and choose – download file - . Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done.

Try removing and reinstalling the cartridge; it sounds like it isn't installed properly. Sometimes they can be tricky, so install it slowly and carefully and make sure it is fully installed. If the new cartridge or the printer includes cartridge installation instructions, try checking that you are following all the steps correctly.
1. Power off the printer 2. After re-boot: click start, control panel, printers & faxes and delete the printer. 3. Re-install the printer with the original driver disc.
There are many suggested solutions to spool problems but try this first. If this does not work we'll go to the other solutions.
if it worked on your desktop, it means that the printer is not faulty. could be issues on your laptop. have you tried plugging it into a different USB port on your laptop? try all the ports, one of them should work. if not, then there may be something wrong with the way you are installing the printer driver to your laptop. double check if you're doing everything correctly by following on-screen instructions carefully
